Lime Recruitment is seeking a skilled Program Officer to join a large Queensland government department. As a key member of the Program Controls team, you will provide support to program and project managers and project team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring regional office projects for data quality and making changes where required within specified deadlines.
  • Scheduling projects in accordance with the regional office's 'Monthly Updating & Reporting Cycle' using Primavera P6.
  • Collating, monitoring, and reporting on the performance and status of program/project and financial support activities.
  • Assisting project managers with Program Change Requests, Value of Work Completed/Monthly Accruals, and Cash Flow predictions.
  • Creating new project shells, including relevant geographical and financial data.
  • Complying with the WH&S Act, Regulations, and Departmental policy.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience of scheduling, preferably within a P6 environment, and project management skills using 3PCM Unifier.
  • Experience using SAP would be highly desirable.
  • Ability to carry out the role competencies in the specification/scope.
  • Able to meet required timeframes.
  • Able to work innovatively and solve problems in a complex environment.
  • Provide demonstrated experience in a fast-paced complex environment.
  • Have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge and compliance with the Natural Disaster Program Business Rules.

This is a contract position based in Queensland, and only Queensland-based candidates are eligible to apply.
