About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Team Manager to join our team in Townsville, Queensland.

As a key member of our team, you will lead and manage the delivery of Psychosocial Service Delivery and Block Funded Programs. You will coach and support a team of Lifestyle Support Workers to tailor services to the needs of consumers.

You will build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across clinical, community and primary health services. Representing us at local and regional network meetings, forums and events is also a crucial aspect of this role.

About You
  • You must have relevant qualifications in Mental Health (Minimum Cert IV Mental Health, Community Services or other related field).
  • Experience leading teams, programs and services in mental health, disability or community services is essential.
  • Clear and effective communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • You should be able to demonstrate computer literacy and accuracy in record management.
  • An ability to problem solve is also required.
  • You must be able to follow policies and procedures at all times.
  • Working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals is also important.
What We Offer
  • This is a fixed term, permanent part time position from October 2024 to January 2025.
  • A competitive salary package of $43.08 per hour plus superannuation is on offer.
