Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

A dynamic internship is available for students and recent graduates in the electrical engineering field. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for switchboard manufacturing projects by gathering information on material costs, labor, and time required.
  • Research and calculate the required quantities of components and materials for each project.
  • Evaluate project specifications and designs to identify potential cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure that estimates align with the company's pricing structure and profit margins.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical circuits and switchboard layouts using CAD software.
  • Create and modify electrical designs, draft technical schematics for switchboard assemblies, and test electrical systems.
  • Inspect and ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and document test results.
  • Support engineers in developing new switchboard products and provide feedback on their performance.

Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and theories.
  • Experience with circuit design and analysis tools, proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
