Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to design and develop cloud-based solutions. As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating scalable and secure architectures that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions using public cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
  • Share expert knowledge with team members and external stakeholders
  • Lead projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with teammates in a Scrum team, conduct code reviews, etc.
  • Execute tests and reports according to established processes
  • Review and provide input to requirements
  • Stay updated on new Azure trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (preferably Bicep or ARM templates)
  • Experience working with DevOps platforms (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Experience developing software with object-oriented languages (preferably C#)
  • Understanding of software lifecycle processes and commitment to ensuring constant care for architecture, code base, test, and documentation
  • Thrives in a multisite, cross-cultural team and takes pride in craftsmanship
  • Self-driven and teamwork-oriented
  • Focused on quality and thoroughness in general
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with design and architectural patterns
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud messaging (preferably Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus)
  • Experience with DB as a service (preferably Azure SQL, Cosmos DB)
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash for automation, CI/CD
  • Practical knowledge of Linux-based systems
  • Understanding of cloud data processing and storage (preferably Azure Synapse, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake)
