Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our Engineering Team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new product manufacturing processes, improving existing products, and ensuring designs meet performance, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement new product manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct research and investigations to improve existing products.
  • Prioritize design elements for performance, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and safety.
  • Develop and arrange tools, fixtures, and equipment for fabrication and assembly of designed components.

Key Requirements:

  • Working knowledge or background in metal machining/fabrication and hydraulics.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling and drafting with ability to design from sketches or verbal concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Bonus Points:

  • Drafting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certificate IV in engineering drafting.
