Operations Site Manager

Site Leadership Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the daily operations of a grain storage and distribution site.
This involves coordinating activities, coaching team members, and ensuring the safe and efficient reception, storage, and outloading of commodities.
- Supervise and support a small team in their daily tasks
- Apply enterprise agreements and people processes effectively
- Develop strong relationships with local growers, customers, and the community
- Prepare for maintenance and pest control services as needed
- Identify and report on maintenance requirements, maintaining site presentation and standards
- Manage safety and risk management programs at the site
The post-winter harvest period is our busiest time, involving managing harvest casuals and contractors who receive thousands of tonnes of grain from local growers.
About Your Expertise
To be successful in this role, you'll need experience in plant operations (ideally in the grain industry) and:
- Experience in supervising, supporting, and developing workgroups/individuals
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as required
- Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
- A current driver's license and basic IT literacy are essential
