About the Opportunity

A permanent full-time role exists within our Cool Room team in Forrestdale. As a customer-focused individual with experience in forklift operation, you will be responsible for manually picking orders correctly, palletising and labelling to customer specifications.

You will also be required to load and unload trucks safely, observing all necessary safety requirements. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually pick orders correctly, palletise and label to customer specifications
  • Load and unload trucks safely, observing all necessary safety requirements
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded in a timely fashion, meeting time slots and production requirements
  • Follow housekeeping and hygiene processes and procedures
  • Responsible for the safe operation of forklift equipment
  • Assist in training new staff and functions as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current Forklift licence is required
  • Previous Warehouse Operator experience is advantageous
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and computer-based maintenance systems
