Freelance Language Interpreter

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced interpreters to join our team of freelance professionals.
This role involves working with individuals who require language support in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations. Our clients span across the UK, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.
Your role will involve:
- Providing high-quality interpretation services for individuals using legal, health, and local government services.
- Ensuring non-English speakers understand the content being conveyed.
- Conducting conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
- Liaising between service users and providers.
You will be fluent in English and another language, have a strong understanding of confidentiality, and possess excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will hold formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages. NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration is advantageous but not essential.
