Appliance Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair of industrial and domestic cleaning equipment across leading brands.

Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis and repair or replacement of vacuum cleaners from various brands
  • Cleaning and refurbishing of vacuum cleaners
  • Test and Tag - Earth leakage testing of equipment and leads
  • Validating warranty claims
  • Updating repairs on the in-house computer system
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area
  • Assisting with stock replenishment of commonly used parts
Requirements
  • Experience in assessing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time to repair machines
  • Knowledge of electrical health and safety requirements
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Test and Tag Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Autonomy to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting turnaround times
