We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Casual After-School Design and Technology Instructor. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys working with children.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Experience working with primary-aged kids (5-12)
- Tech savviness and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in speaking in front of a small group of children and delivering lesson plans
- Mature outlook and ability to manage risk and supervise children
- Fluent conversational English
- A valid Blue Card or willingness to obtain it immediately
- A laptop with HDMI connectivity
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and facilitating engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Setting up and packing away equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Establishing positive relationships with students and providing a fun and safe learning environment
- Staying in contact with Head Office via Slack and ensuring seamless communication
This is an excellent chance for those who are enthusiastic about education and have a strong interest in technology.
