Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our passionate and supportive team. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic cancer clinic that offers state-of-the-art access to radiation oncology, medical oncology, diagnostics, and clinical trials.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Effectively manage the daily workload, facilitating effective communication with staff and providing feedback to patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and communicate this information effectively.
- Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
- Manage medication protocols and ensure reliability, motivation, and flexibility.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Previous experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology (desirable but not essential).
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy for patients and their carers.
- Clinical and problem-solving skills, with ability to plan and coordinate care.
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
