Freight Sorter Role

We are seeking skilled and dedicated freight sorters to support our operational needs. Freight sorters play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods through our warehouse.

About the Role:

  • Freight sorters will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from interstate trailers using Twin Tyne systems.
  • They will operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment, managing stock and inventory levels.
  • Sorting, organizing, and accurately labeling boxes is also an essential aspect of this role.
  • Allocating boxes to designated bays for easy loading and transportation by location is another key responsibility.
  • Stacking pallets and manual handling when required are also part of the job duties.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and committed operators with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be physically fit and have a good understanding of safe manual handling practices.
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential.
  • Good team player with attention to detail and accuracy in sorting freight.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and follow instructions.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
