Watchroom Operator Role

Ventia Kapooka, New South Wales, Australia is seeking a Watchroom Operator to join their Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an effective operational readiness in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.

The role requires the ability to respond fire crews to incidents as required at the applicable fire station and maintain support and communications to the Incident Controller. Additionally, the candidate will assist the Officer in Charge of the Fire Station to ensure that all relevant administrative duties associated with the operational aspect of the fire station are performed.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an effective operational readiness in accordance with the relevant policies and guidelines
  • Respond fire crews to incidents as required at the applicable fire station
  • Maintain support and communications to the Incident Controller
  • Assist the Officer in Charge of the Fire Station to ensure that all relevant administrative duties are performed
