Senior Care Assistant Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Senior Care Assistants, providing high-quality in-home support services to valued customers.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our customers by offering personalized support services tailored to their unique needs.

About You

- Personal Qualities:

  • Be a caring, compassionate, and friendly individual with excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and dependable, with strong relationships built with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Familiarity with technology, particularly mobile apps, is required for accessing rosters and recording customer feedback.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management.
- Offer social support and transportation for activities, shopping, and medical appointments.
- Assist with domestic tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Help customers use aids and equipment, and provide emotional support when needed.
- Monitor customer well-being and report on progress.

Requirements and Qualifications

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Criminal Record Check
- Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
