Pharmacy Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Western Sydney Oncology and Infusion Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pharmacists with medication dispensing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary.
  • Providing exceptional patient care by striving to deliver personalized services and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Aseptic compounding for pharmacists, adhering to strict protocols for safety and quality.
  • Managing inventory levels for dispensaries and wards, maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Conducting laboratory housekeeping tasks as required.
  • Assisting with administrative duties, including claim processing.
Requirements
  • Proof of immunization against infectious diseases is mandatory.
  • A national police check conducted within the last 12 months is also required.
