About this Opportunity

  • This is a mid-senior level full-time health care provider role that will make a significant contribution to the delivery of integrated mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess referrals and provide short-term support, consultations and liaison with the community.
  • Collaborate with primary health providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide face-to-face assessments and secondary consultation services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including consumers, carers, and service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board or Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA, or eligible with AASW - preferably with mental health endorsements or equivalent.
  • Significant full-time clinical experience and postgraduate qualifications desirable, including demonstrated interest in continual learning opportunities.
  • Substantial experience in a mental health-based context, preferably in community settings.
  • A current driver's license is required to undertake this role.
