Our organization is seeking an experienced software quality assurance professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and procedures, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The role will involve working closely with the development team to ensure that software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key responsibilities will include designing, implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks within a CI/CD process, creating and maintaining test plans for new features and existing features from the systems using Xray, identifying and resolving testing dependencies, traceability, risks and gaps in test coverage across a complex distributed system.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar technical field of study, 2-5 years of software quality assurance experience and a strong understanding of C++, Golang and TypeScript.
Familiarity with Linux and scripting, experience with AI/ML and handling non-deterministic systems and sensor fusion or computer vision are highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills to implement and shape QA procedures across the platform, ability to create and orchestrate manual test plans and experience working with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence are essential.
Job Requirements- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 to 5 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
- Understanding of C++, Golang and TypeScript is desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting is required.
- Experience with AI/ML and handling non-deterministic systems is essential.
- Understanding of sensor fusion or computer vision is strongly desired.
- Proven ability to create and orchestrate manual test plans.
- Experience working with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD development approach using automation where possible.
- Strong interpersonal skills to implement and shape QA procedures across the platform.
- Hands on Release Testing - providing 'hands-on' assistance during the feature development whether it come from the Backend or Frontend and test coverage areas to focus on.
