Senior Electrical Drafter Wanted

Hudson Australia is seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our dynamic team based in Newcastle. As a leading consultancy, we deliver innovative engineering solutions for the water and mining industries. Our focus on sustainability and efficiency drives our projects, and we need an Electrical Drafter to develop detailed electrical designs and schematics for projects in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics for water and mining projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and integrated designs.
  • Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Assist in conducting site assessments and compiling relevant data for designs.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards in all drawings.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting.
  • Experience drafting for the water and mining industry.
  • Background from a design consultancy preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
