Job Title: Guest Services Officer
Location: Seal Rocks
The Role:This is a casual position within our team, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service experience to our guests. You will be the first point of contact for our visitors and will represent us in a positive manner.
Key responsibilities include providing assistance with bookings, enquiries, and complaints via telephone and internet, as well as general office duties such as banking and cleaning of office/kiosk.
- Providing exceptional customer service experience every time.
- Liaising with guests face to face, via telephone and internet.
- Undertaking general office duties, banking, and cleaning of office/kiosk.
- Preparing correspondence, record keeping of all mail and carrying out filing in accordance with procedures.
- Assisting Park Manager and Supervisors with the opening and closing of office and kiosk/store.
- Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised point of sale register.
- Assisting Supervisor with stock take and invoicing for kiosk, store, cabin, office, and cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Directing visitors within the park and as they enter the park.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in administration or front office reception.
- Ability to use a booking/reservations system.
- Time management skills to meet priorities.
- Initiative to learn quickly and adapt to changing work environments.
- Problem-solving skills to meet guest needs.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of guests.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work including weekend, peak holiday seasons and public holiday work.
