The role of Healthcare Support Specialist is a permanent part-time position within the Audiology Department at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
This position involves assisting Audiologists to deliver high-quality clinical services to outpatients through various non-clinical and clinical duties.
You will work within the scope of an allied health assistant, demonstrating evidence-based practice and a commitment to learning.
Additionally, you will be required to work effectively and flexibly within teams, showcasing strong communication, organisation, and collaboration skills.
Acting in a professional and ethical manner is also essential for this role.
">- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience working directly with infants and children is preferred.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is highly regarded.
- Proficient computer skills are necessary for this position.
