Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

This is an exciting role within our Community Mental Health Team in Tullamore, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to support individuals with mental health challenges in regaining independence and improving their quality of life through meaningful engagement in daily activities.

The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions, develop and implement personalized care plans to support mental health recovery, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care. They will empower service users to achieve their personal, social, and vocational goals, promote engagement in meaningful activities to enhance well-being and independence, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with best practices.

The successful applicant will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification, be CORU registered (or eligible to register), and possess strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. A passion for empowering individuals in their mental health recovery journey is essential.

Requirements:
