Job Opportunity: HVAC/AC & Refrigeration Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice - 2nd/3rd Year Mechanical to join our team in HVAC/ Air-conditioning & refrigeration.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop on-the-job skills, working with experienced engineers to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about learning and growing with our organization. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

You will also have the opportunity to work on shift rotations, including continental roaster schedules (12 hours on, 4 hours off, 5 hours on, 5 hours off).

  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Work with management to ensure energy efficiency by verifying that all systems are operating at optimal levels.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program or technical school.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads.
  • Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
