Maintenance Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team in providing high-quality services to our residential aged care home.

  • As a maintenance officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and attractive living environment that suits the needs of our residents.
  • You will identify and prioritise resident needs to create a more homely environment.
  • You will assist the property manager in selecting tradespeople to undertake specific tasks.
  • You will maintain a planned preventative program and ensure documentation requirements are met.
  • You will attend to the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utilities in line with our schedule.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a trade.
  • Experience in identifying standards as they relate to the provision of building maintenance.
  • A customer service focus with the ability to provide solutions.
  • Experience with electronic maintenance management systems.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement that enhances resident lives.
