Delivery Operations Excellence Lead

Location: Flexible, with potential for on-site work

Reports to: Chief Growth Officer

Role Overview:

This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery ecosystem, ensuring seamless logistics solutions for merchants. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, leveraging data and technology to streamline processes.

  • Manage delivery performance, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with carriers to ensure reliable service.
  • Analyse operational trends using Excel/Google Sheets, generating insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams to implement process improvements, enhance scalability, and resolve operational escalations.
  • Develop operational systems, integrating new workflows and metrics to optimise speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive accountability with carriers, ensuring merchants receive consistent and reliable service.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform commercial decisions and improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver operational enhancements and align with strategic goals.
  • Deliver regular operational performance reports, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management within eCommerce logistics, supply chain, or SaaS-enabled delivery services.
  • Strong analytical capability, with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, modelling, dashboards).
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and system scalability.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, balancing commercial, technical, and operational needs.
