Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering design assignments and projects, working closely with other engineering disciplines and professionals to deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead electrical engineering design assignments and projects.
  • Work as a team with other engineering disciplines and professionals to deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
  • Prepare electrical designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports.
  • Use knowledge of general concepts of electrical engineering elements to support electrical engineering projects and direct junior engineers.
  • Perform and review calculations to analyze and design electrical system components.
  • Interpret and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
  • Provide support services during construction, including submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and contract document clarifications.
  • Perform field work related to construction activities as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Between 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position with well-rounded experience in water and wastewater projects.
  • Prior consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
