About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reward Specialist to join our team at Arup. As a key member of our Reward Community of Expertise, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our cyclical processes and shaping our reward strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver reward cyclical activity and programmes, including pay benchmarking, pay budget planning, pay review, and job grading.
  • Participate in projects to operationalise our reward strategy and develop solutions in support of global and regional business needs.
  • Design and complete in-depth analysis of reward data to provide insights on pay equity, pay review budget spend, market competitiveness, and other regular or ad hoc requirements.
  • Identify key metrics to provide insight into developing solutions and measuring the effectiveness of reward practices and processes.
  • Support the implementation of our new global people system.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on reward-related matters.
  • Carry out in-depth market research to inform projects.
Requirements
  • Operational reward experience within a matrixed organisation environment, ideally international.
  • Outcome-oriented and adaptable with the ability to manage complexity across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and systems proficiency with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable collaborating and managing the expectations of a range of internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Able to maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high-quality delivery in a busy environment.
  • An ability to review current processes and data, detect errors, and take responsibility for improving data quality.
  • Curious, willing to learn, and focussed on problem-solving and helping to deliver effective reward solutions.
  • Personal integrity with commitment and alignment to Arup values and aims.
  • Self-motivated with positive energy, a growth mindset, and passion for continuous improvement.
