Job Description
The primary goal of this role is to provide exceptional support to bartenders and ensure seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked bar, expediting drink orders, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean the bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers, and other bar appliances in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain floors and keep them free of garbage or debris.
- Ensure the back bar is set properly with all product labels facing and pour spouts facing to the left.
- Verify that soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meet service standards.
- Stock assigned bars with product and supplies for the evening and maintain adequate inventory throughout each shift.
- Organize and clean the liquor room, walk-in coolers, and store rooms at all times.
- Prepare all mixes and garnishes as required.
- Greet customers warmly and engage in conversation when approaching the bar.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by bartenders and management.
- Contribute to venue marketing efforts through social media and promote the property's offerings.
- Collect customer information for the database while expanding personal clientele.
- Provide accurate information about the venue, entertainment options, and events.
- Anticipate bartenders' needs and assist them as necessary.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and requests, communicating effectively with management, hosts, and service staff.
- Address customer complaints, comments, or incidents, reporting them to management as needed.
- Remove trash from the bar, adhering to venue protocols for waste storage, handling, and transportation.
