About the Role

The Australian Government Security Clearance is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Client, Strategy and Enablement Branch within the Shared Services Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of project artefacts, including project plans, statements of work, benefits realisation plans, and other key documents.
  • Coordinate project execution, including the management of budgets, schedules, and risks.
  • Address internal and external governing bodies, including Project Boards, both verbally and through high-quality written project and program reports.
  • Lead the Project Delivery Office (PDO) and its Project Managers, coordinating SDO resources to ensure they are effectively utilised across projects.
  • Monitor and coordinate client-focused projects to ensure they meet both client and APS outcomes.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver system-related projects on time, in scope, and in budget.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary Project Workshops to achieve operational and strategic outcomes.
  • Recommend continuous improvement activity within the PDO, including sharing project management expertise, mentoring, and training to other staff.
About the Team

The Client, Strategy and Enablement Branch is a key part of the Shared Services Division, responsible for delivering corporate transactional processing and technical services to 15 government entity clients.
