English Teacher - Secondary School Opportunity\

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English teacher to join our team at a thriving secondary school. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers through regular updates and progress reports

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching)
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland
  • Proven experience in teaching English to students in secondary school settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
