Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Data Specialist to join our team at Bupaoptical. As a key member of our Digital Insights team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing good practice in the digital data instrumentation of our digital estate.

About the Role:

  • Lead Digital Data Instrumentation: You will be responsible for maintaining and extending the digital data layer to ensure it is coherent, transparent, and consumable.
  • Translate Requirements into Action: You will work closely with the Digital Insights team to translate requirements into actionable insights.
  • Provide Technical Support: You will provide technical support and advice to the CRO & Personalisation program and Insights Driven Optimisation for our website.
  • Synthesize Complex Data: You will synthesize complex online and offline data into clearly articulated management and executive communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert: You will be a subject matter expert in digital data instrumentation and will be sought out for advice on implementation practices.
  • Team Player: You will work closely with a team of analytic professionals to come up with solutions that best suit business needs.
  • Problem Solver: You will think creatively and out of the box to solve complex problems and challenges.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinker: You will take ownership and think creatively to solve complex problems, situations, or opportunities.
  • Planned and Organised: You will set clearly defined objectives, plan activities and projects well in advance, and take account of possible changing circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification: You will have a tertiary qualification in business, statistics, analytical, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: You will have 3 years' experience in a Digital Data Specialist or similar role with experience in Marketing Tag implementation and running multivariate tests for insight-based optimisation.
  • Technical Skills: You will have experience setting up tags using Enterprise Tag Management Solutions such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager, or Ensighten.
  • Software Skills: You will have experience with Tealium, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or other tag management and analytic solutions, Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), Sitecore (desirable), Tealium Audience Manager, and Tealium Data Access.
  • Working Knowledge: You will have a good understanding of tag management data layer and working knowledge with JavaScript.
  • Experience Working with Developers: You will have experience working directly with developers in implementing analytic solutions.
  • Optimisation Program Experience: You will have experience within an optimisation program aimed at improving onsite conversion.
