New Builds Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a New Builds Supervisor at our state-of-the-art Wacol site.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organise and supervise the Brisbane New Builds business to meet customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to achieve department budgets and allotted KPI's.
- Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and maintain a safety-first culture.
- Maintain work schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of equipment and resources.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team on yearly Apprenticeship programs.
- Directly manage the new builds delivery team, including people topics such as resource planning, recruitment, growth & development, training & performance management.
- Prioritise delivery efficiency with a strong focus on maximising KPI performance.
- Contribute to and strategically work to deliver the New Builds financial forecast/budget.
- Collaborate with and satisfy the enquiries of the Hitachi sales team.
- Continuously improve Hitachi processes.
- Relevant diesel or mobile plant mechanic trade qualifications.
- Similar supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and the ability to get the team to work cohesively.
- Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS principles.
- Experience in the maintenance of mining & construction equipment (Hitachi exposure would be a distinct advantage).
- Excellent time management with the ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
- The ability to use initiative to contribute and support continuous improvement, and drive change.
- A strong attention to detail.
