About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Team Leader to join our team at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the inbound process and team members to ensure all KPIs and targets are achieved for Goods In and Put Away departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound team members, including daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties, performance management, and management of holiday and absence.
  • Ensure all supplier deliveries are received, checked, processed, and put away within agreed timelines.
  • Notify appropriate departments when supplier non-conformance or shortage/overages are found.
  • Ensure all transfers are processed immediately upon arrival into the warehouse.
  • Support the Returns process, including receiving, checking, and putting away customer returns within agreed timelines.
  • Provide reports to the Inbound Manager/Operations team as and when requested.
  • Produce internal performance reporting to monitor and assess throughput, quality, and trends.
Requirements
  • A passion for safety, health, and wellbeing of team members.
  • Previous experience leading teams in a warehouse/DC environment.
  • Strong team-player who champions an inclusive culture and can drive team values.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage warehouse staff.
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple accountabilities through to completion.
  • Strong problems-solving skills, with the ability to utilize 'Plan, Do, Check, Act' principles.
  • Proven ability to drive improvements through strong communication and clear delivery of plans within the departments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
