Executive Dean of Education
DescriptionThe RANZCP is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the College's education portfolio. As Executive Dean, you will drive innovation and excellence in mental health education, shaping the future of psychiatric education and training in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of innovative programs, strategies, and policies across Australia and New Zealand.
- Collaborate with the Board, committees, and education taskforce to drive the revision of the Fellowship Program and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Foster a collaborative, values-based culture within the education department, ensuring contemporary, inclusive, sustainable, and responsive education programs for trainees, Fellows, and the wider profession.
- Registered medical specialist with extensive experience working within large education or training organisations.
- Demonstrable experience in governance, accreditation, and change management.
- Strong understanding of postgraduate assessment processes and regulatory frameworks shaping professional education.
- Strategic vision combined with operational competence, managing budgets, building high-performing teams, and leading large-scale programs.
This role offers flexible employment arrangements (0.6-1.0 FTE) to accommodate candidates who wish to maintain existing clinical practice commitments.
