About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering payroll for 1500 employees using Dayforce.

Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources, this is a 'hands-on' manager role where you are fully responsible for processing fortnightly pay runs across 11 locations in Melbourne and Geelong, administering payments and reconciliations of deductions, adjustments, superannuation payments, work cover and payroll tax, and processing monthly payroll reports.

  • Process payroll for 1500 employees across multiple locations
  • Administer various payments and reconcile discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain accurate payroll records

You will be supported by a part-time Payroll Specialist and will have the opportunity to assist with payroll-related project management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality payroll services to employees
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of payroll experience in a health or aged care environment
  • Previous experience using Dayforce
  • Strong understanding of awards and agreements
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Current and valid police check
