Job Title: Container Handler Operator

At our company, we are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Container Handler Operator.

We take pride in consistently delivering superior and reliable service, a broad scope of services, and an exemplary safety record. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing the container yard and safely loading/unloading intermodal containers within the yard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stacks and unstacks intermodal containers & chassis
  • Unloads and loads Intermodal containers from and on to chassis
  • Folllows the established yard plan when stacking containers and chassis
  • Works with the gate in handling drivers dropping off and picking up equipment
  • Supports the shop for the repair of chassis and containers
  • Moves refrigerated containers to and from power lines and wash bays
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Previous experience in operating a container handler required
  • Previous experience in operating a crane and/or heavy equipment a plus
  • Previous Hostler Operator experience a plus
