As a trainee, you will work within clearly defined priorities and procedures to undertake a range of geospatial tasks, including cartography, photogrammetry, data acquisition, data management, and data dissemination through web services and multinational co-production programs. About Our TeamThe AGO Foundation Geospatial Branch in Bendigo is a critical component of the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation, providing accurate and timely geospatial intelligence to support decision makers at all levels. Our team is dedicated to producing, managing, and disseminating foundation geospatial intelligence data, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a range of geospatial tasks, including cartography, photogrammetry, data acquisition, data management, and data dissemination through web services and multinational co-production programs.
- Work within clearly defined priorities and procedures to complete allocated tasks within required timeframes.
- Develop an understanding of and comply with relevant legislative frameworks.
- Contribute to team discussions to achieve outcomes and seek assistance when required.
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Be willing to live and work in Bendigo and enjoy the benefits of regional living.
- Be flexible, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Have an attention to detail and be able to identify and provide solutions to complex problems.
