SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant

Expertise is required for the role of Senior SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Consultant. Application Management Support (AMS) services are to be provided.

About The Position:

  • On-site work environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day functional support for SAP S/4HANA SD module, including issue resolution and user assistance.
  • Incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution related to Sales Orders, Pricing, and Customer Master Data.
  • Closely collaborate with business users to understand requirements and provide expert guidance.
  • Identify and implement configuration changes or enhancements in the SD module.
  • Collaboration with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS) for debugging and performance optimization when needed.
  • Participation in root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation of system configurations and support processes.
  • Support integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, LE) as required.
  • Providing knowledge transfer and guidance to junior team members or client staff when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant, including at least 2 years in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and supporting core SD processes: Sales Orders, Pricing, and Customer Master.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Experience in AMS (Application Management Services) or post implementation support roles.
  • Ability to perform detailed issue analysis, debugging, and resolution in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile or ITIL support methodologies.
