As a leading infrastructure contractor, CPB Contractors Pty Limited is committed to delivering complex projects on time and within budget. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team on the North East Link project in Melbourne, Victoria.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

">

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our plant team. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Managing day-to-day activities, including diary management, communications, reporting, records management, procurement, accounts/invoices, travelling & logistics, and purchasing;
  • Maintaining an effective filing/archiving system to ensure records and documents are suitably protected from damage and are readily available;
  • Assisting with the formatting/typing and record keeping of relevant documentation;
  • Providing support to ensure all owned plant & equipment is maintained to comply with project and Australian Safety Standards;
  • Planning and coordinating a Plant Maintenance planning system to improve plant reliability;
  • Maintaining the maintenance program using a database by promptly generating & issuing work orders to Mechanical or Electrical Supervisors for action;
  • Ordering and maintaining onsite stock of various stationary/parts required;
  • Pricing checking, purchase order creating, delivery confirmation, invoice approval;
  • Assisting Plant Engineers and Foremen in day-to-day running activities;
  • Insurance and warranty claims;
  • Hire plant organisation;
  • Transport organisation;
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve the provision of services and processes;
  • Implementing and supporting change strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • ">
  • Relevant word processing and secretarial qualifications and/or training;
  • A minimum 5 years' experience in administration (ideal but not compulsory);
  • Construction work environment desirable;
  • Advanced Microsoft skills;
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment;
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with confidence, but tactful;
  • Strong level written and verbal communication;
  • Client focus;
  • Attention to detail.
