Job Opportunity

The Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks an exceptional professional to assume a pivotal role within the Sentence Management Division.

This unit operates Victoria's adult corrections system, striving for balance between safety, security, and humanity while providing programs that address underlying causes of offending behavior.

  • Lead a team in assessing, classifying, and determining sentence planning and placement for major offenders within Victoria's prison system.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver best practice sentence management processes, ensuring timely, secure, safe, and appropriate placement and intervention for individuals.

Candidates must demonstrate expertise in best practice sentence management principles and relevant legislation, as well as knowledge of Corrections Victoria's operations, policies, and procedures.

While qualifications may be desirable, they are not mandatory.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Ravenhall, with possible travel to other Corrections Victoria facilities across the state.


Requirements
