This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a residential aged care facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective clinical care to residents, including assessing their health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Undertaking or supervising others to undertake clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behaviour management, end-of-life care, and other clinical procedures.
- Liaising with healthcare staff, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and other specialist healthcare practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent experience caring for high-care and dementia residents.
- Demonstrated knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, and care plans.
