High-Quality Vehicle Painter Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced vehicle paint technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles in our workshop.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will also need to be able to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and hand tools
- Clean and prepare surfaces before painting
- Use power sanders and other equipment to smooth out surfaces
- Mask areas not to be painted with tape and paper
- Colour match and mix paints to achieve exact shades
- Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns
Requirements:
- AQF Certificate III or equivalent qualification
- At least two years of on-the-job training or relevant experience
- Ability to use pneumatic-powered spray guns and perform minor mechanical repairs
