Job Summary

This role focuses on providing effective support to the hospitality function in a care home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with previous experience in catering or cleaning being preferred but not essential.

About the Role

As a Hospitality Service Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards. This includes completing required documentation and reporting, responding to residents' queries and requests, and performing various tasks such as laundry duties and cleaning of residents' rooms and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, including loading washers and dryers and sorting linen
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Complete required documentation and reporting as necessary
