**Job Title:** Product Development Designer

Drone Shield is seeking a talented Product Development Designer to join our Design Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and refining new products that meet the company's established design language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine product concepts with input from various teams
  • Manage products over the entire development cycle
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage project outcomes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand complex engineering concepts and integrate into design concepts
  • Development and maintenance of bill of materials, assembly documentation and CAD models

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant product/industrial design discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Diverse experience in design for manufacturing
  • Expertise with product visualization and rendering
  • Proficiency in software tools - Solidworks, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Experience in complex surface modeling
  • Good ideation and sketching skills to clearly communicate ideas
