This is a 12-month fixed-term position as an IT Manager, reporting to the [Manager's Name]. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT domain expertise and partnering with the business to deliver on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with stakeholders across various business markets to understand and manage their IT and digital requirements, ensuring service ownership and accountability for service delivery.
- Promote solutions that align with our clients' vision and identify potential commercial opportunities while maintaining a strong service management framework.
- Ensure product and capability alignment with Aurecon's values through key vendor relationships, focusing on continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Facilitate technical, business, and commercial analysis to deliver innovative outcomes for clients, while actively managing service performance metrics.
- Collaborate with IT business partners, architects, and internal stakeholders to address BAU or project-related queries, ensuring effective service transition and operational readiness.
- Contribute to local industry events and build a reputation for expertise within the industry, showcasing our commitment to service ownership and client satisfaction.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., Prince2, PMBOK, ITIL, Agile, or similar) are highly desirable, showcasing a commitment to best practices in project delivery.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in Business Analysis roles, preferably within the technology sector, with a strong emphasis on commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple concurrent projects, demonstrating an ability to align project outcomes with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Deep understanding of IT systems architecture and experience managing geographically dispersed technology teams.
- Proficiency in planning, budgeting, monitoring, and financial reconciliation, with a focus on optimizing resource allocation and driving cost efficiencies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to facilitate workshops and effectively engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience working within structured frameworks and methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile, with a preference for candidates who have led projects in hybrid environments.
