Project Support Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Support Specialist to join our Projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small scale projects from conception to completion, providing administrative support to Project Managers, and ensuring the Projects Team is supported through exceptional administrative skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small scale projects from conception to completion
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers
  • Ensure the Projects Team is supported through exceptional administrative skills
  • Arrange contractors, permits, and other special arrangements as needed, to successfully complete the project
  • Clients' projects and queries are being attended to in a professional manner
  • Must have experience working on civil construction sites
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to working in a team and with little supervision
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong understanding of the Construction/Shopfitting Industry

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative support role
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Roller ticket preferred but not essential
  • Must have a valid Construction White Card
  • Ability to travel to site

 

Desirable Qualities:

  • Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • White Card (required)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (required)
  • Australia Work Authorisation (preferred)
