Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Reporting and Technical Accounting specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building one of the world's most valuable companies by ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

The Reporting and Technical Accounting specialist will be responsible for supporting the preparation of annual financial statements, managing the external audit process, and leading research and documentation of complex accounting issues.

You will work closely with the finance team and other business units, where trust and reliability will be key tools in your success.

  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and disclosures for our Group audit and local entity reporting requirements.
  • Manage the external audit process, including timely coordination of audit requests.
  • Support internal control compliance.
  • Lead research and documentation of complex and non-routine accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity arrangements, business combinations).
  • Draft, maintain, and update accounting policies and procedures in accordance with applicable standards (US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP).
Requirements:
  • A Business, Finance or Accounting degree, and a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience applying accounting principles under multiple reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to reference accounting standards off the top of your head.
  • Ability to distill complex accounting topics, in order to communicate with clarity to various stakeholders.
