Finance Business Partner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to support our North West Shelf Gas operations in Perth, Western Australia. This is a 6-month contract position to cover parental leave, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

  • This role involves providing financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, as well as coordinating the annual enterprise plan and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and presenting management reports, including analysis and commentary on monthly financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Your key focal point will be cost saving initiatives, working closely with finance teams and business stakeholders to drive financial performance and deliver insights by understanding costs and value drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline

  • An ability to work independently, prioritize varying demands and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of the costing process, residuals, recoveries and rates and how they impact our business
  • Strong financial and commercial analytical skills
