We are seeking individuals to provide support and care to our clients in a variety of settings.

This role involves working one-on-one with clients, assisting with daily living tasks, administering medications, and providing emotional support.

As an Aged Care Direct Support Worker, you will be part of a team that prioritizes dignity and respect for all clients. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your problem-solving skills and creativity to address the unique needs of each client.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be required to maintain accurate records and adhere to infection control procedures.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support with personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more
  • Administering medications
  • Assisting with manual handling and general assistance with mobility
  • Domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation
  • Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice
