The Accent Group seeks a seasoned Senior Merchandise Lead to drive growth for our iconic brands in the Australia & New Zealand market.
This role requires strategic collaboration with global and regional brand principals to execute key brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global and Regional brand principals to develop and implement effective brand strategies.
- Conduct ongoing marketplace analysis in conjunction with sales, commercial and direct to consumer teams.
- Design and implement relevant assortments for the marketplace through channel and segmentation models.
- Develop comprehensive pricing architecture to enhance brand positioning and maximize commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with key wholesale customers on special projects, seasonal requirements, and product developments.
- Play a critical role in GTM touchpoints with both sales and direct to consumer teams.
- Lead the assortment planning process, including market capacities, net sales, and margin requirements, in conjunction with commercial teams.
Core Competencies:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in merchandising capacity in footwear, apparel or accessories lead consumer product industry.
- Strong understanding of the Sports Performance, Running & Fashion markets.
- Must be creative, strategic, analytical, innovative, and a problem-solver.
- Proficient in excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and word. Design skills are a plus but not essential.
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from multiple stakeholders.
- Confident presenting in front of small to large internal teams.
- Available for domestic and international travel as required.
