Director of Logistics and Patient Flow:

This Director ensures hospital services function smoothly through an integrated approach.

Key objectives include fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in health, administration or management
  • Master's degree (in business administration, public administration or health services management) considered an asset
  • Eight to ten years of professional experience relevant to the position and/or in health services management
  • Excellent knowledge of the hospital system, its administration and legal framework
  • Ability to rally and mobilize teams around a common vision in a complex environment
  • Good knowledge of change management and continuous improvement within a context of organizational transformation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience in planning, coordinating and supervising hospital operations
  • Proven versatility, adaptability and responsiveness
  • Dynamic and innovative approach
  • Ability to generate support and commitment
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and outside field of expertise
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance)
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the organization's philosophy and values
  • Compliance with rules of confidentiality established by the organization
